At Taché Real Estate we look forward to helping you with the purchase of your next home. You may choose to work with an agent representing the seller or you can choose to work with an experienced professional working in your best interest and representing you in what is most likely the largest purchase of your life to date. If you decide to work with a buyer’s agent you should choose one who makes you feel at ease, who is knowledgeable in the areas in which you are looking, and who has the experience to put together the best deal for you. You should feel comfortable with this person. A good Buyer’s Agent should act as your personal real estate consultant.
A Buyer’s Agent may be compensated in a variety of ways — by the buyer, the relocating company, the listing agent, the seller, or by any third party. They may ask for a flat fee, a percentage of the purchase price, an hourly rate, or any combination of these. The Buyer’s Agent fee is generally built into the purchase price and disbursed at closing along with other fees. In addition, any fees expected should be fully disclosed with the offer to purchase. The buyer does not have to pay the Buyer’s Agent directly, however they must PROTECT the case.
